HRITHIK ROSHAN CANT FORGET BARBARA MORI

I can't forget Barbara Mori, Hrithik confesses to Karan Johar

While shooting a critical sequence in Santa Fe, Babara Mori made her shy co-star Hrithik Roshan discard his desi inhibitions to express love in one of its natural manifestations. The kiss... and ever since poor Duggu has not been able to take his mind off the Mexican beauty. According to the latest buzz, Hrithik has found a confidante in good friend Karan Johar and told him that he is torn between Barbara and Susanne. As a result he has become quite a rebel and a party animal, something which he was never before as one of his co-star says, “Hrithik used to be one of the most balanced people around but suddenly one hears that he and his cronies, which include several well-known names, party almost every night and some of the things that go on there are alarming. Everyone in the industry knows about this, but no one will talk.” Reports also say that Hrithik has made it quite clear to directors close to him that he would be willing to green-light projects that required him to star with Barbara but no one has taken the bait yet, as they all wait to see the reaction to Kites. Kites is about an Indian boy’s romantic affair with a Latina girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other’s language. Hrithik Roshan plays a salsa teacher. It is a story of passion that defies every rule, of a relationship that takes two lovers on a thrilling journey filled with precious moments and unexpected betrayal. The film is being marketed extensively by Reliance BIG Pictures, also has Kangana Ranaut, Nick Brown and Kabir Bedi in pivotal roles. Katrina fooled Salman to be with Ranbir Kapoor?

Katrina Kaif, who is supposedly in London recovering after her surgery, was actually in New York for a bit to meet Ranbir Kapoor, who is shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Anjaana Anjaani’. She is in London to celebrate New Year’s Eve with her family but looks like family is tangential when it comes to Ranbir. A family member of Katrina’s let slip that she is in New York. And while Katrina has denied it saying that it’s a family joke that she is in New York because she is harassed by many calls, it is just too coincidental. Recently, Katrina skipped boyfriend Salman Khan’s birthday and their relationship hasn’t been going great. Ranbir split with Deepika but neither of them has really let go. Ranbir and Katrina’s friendship blossomed on the sets of ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and they even worked on ‘Rajneeti’ together. The Girl who refused to go without top...LEKHA WASHINGTON

What started off as an innocent enough scene, gave Lekha Washington nightmares. She was only supposed to ride a bike with co-star Rajeev Khandelwal for their film ‘Peter Gaya Kaam Se’. But she broke into cold sweat when director John Owen told her that she needed to go bare for the scene and grasp Rajeev with her back facing the camera. She refused to do the scene point blank. She then agreed to do it if they would keep towels in between her and Rajeev. But once again, she refused to do it. Finally, the director agreed to let her wear a bikini top for the film to get the shot done. Lekha did the shot but wasn’t too happy about it. The unit members told her how important it was for the script and reminded her that when she could do an intimate scene with Rajeev, this shouldn’t be an issue. Rajeev stated that it was a bold scene and Lekha was uncomfortable shooting. Lekha expressed that Peter Gaya Kaam Se is a film for universal audiences and she didn’t see any reason to do the film barebacked. Salman Khan does a hot item song with Bhabhi Malaika

Salman Khan and his beautiful sister-in-law Malaika Arora have never before shared screen space, let alone performed an item song together. The status quo changes this Tuesday (12 January) when the sizzling Malaika known to set the screen on fire with song- and-dance numbers like Chaiyyan chaiyyan (with Shah Rukh Khan) in Dil Se and Mahi ve in Kaante, is all set to do an item song with Salman Khan for the Abhinav Kashyap-directed Dabangg. The song which goes with the raunchy title Munni badnaam hui darling tere liye is composed by Lalit Pandit. Salman’s new best-friend Farah Khan will choreograph the sizzling-hot track. Malaika’s husband Arbaaz Khan who produces Dabangg confirms Malaika’s item song with Salman. “It’s a very earthy track in one of those rugged sweaty Bihari bars, something like Beedi jalaile on Omkara but different. Malaika will play a dancer who has come from out of town to regale the revelers. While she will be dancing Salman joins her.” While the rest of the songs in Dabangg are composed by Sajid-Wajid, the Salman-Malaika item song is tuned by Lalit Pundit. Says Arbaaz, “When I heard the track I knew I had to have it in Dabangg. It will set the the charts on fire. And Malaika will certainly do justice to it.” Although Arbaaz has a pivotal role in Dabangg he doesn’t share any scenes with his wife. Says Arbaaz, “My hands are pretty full as producer and actor in Dabangg. I’m enjoying every bit of it. We want the film to come out as something special, and not just another movie. Though it’s a full-on action-packed drama Dabangg will present Salman like never before.” Arbaaz hopes to release Dabangg during Eid this year.
